The Nokia 6700 Classic has the essentials of style. Great design and great features keep your life simple. Taking photos on the Nokia 6700 Classic is easy, web browsing is fast and call quality is excellent.
Aesthetically, this Nokia handset is simple and yet completely stunning. Made of stainless steel, the 6700 Classic is a curvaceous black and silver beauty that is weighty enough in your hands to prove how well built it is. While it can be a bit of a finger print factory, the 6700 Classic is nice to hold and also to use. The keypad is not raised but does have small raised sections between the keys. Tactility is great and the keys give off a nice little click when you press them.
The 2.2 inch display is remarkably bright and provides excellent viewing quality. The trusty Nokia user interface has been given a few upgrades for the 6700 Classic, including the ability to customise your home screen with shortcuts. As always, this interface is clearly laid out and simple to use.
A big plus of the Nokia 6700 Classic is the powerful 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash. There is a dedicated shutter button on the side of the handset and you can also use the centre of the navigation pad on the front to take the shot. The Nokia 6700 Classic takes beautiful pictures; the images are almost print quality and even the photos you take using the flash are decent.
Other features of the Nokia 6700 include built-in noise cancellation technology, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity (although no Wi-Fi) an FM radio and a music player. You have to use the headphones that Nokia have included, but these plug in to the micro USB port which is a lot smaller than the regular propriety headphone socket used by many other handsets. This micro USB port is also great for connecting the Nokia 6700 Classic to your PC for file sharing or charging. A microSD card slot, with an included 1GB microSD rounds out this great little package from Nokia.
