About Nokia E55

The Nokia E55 is a well-designed handset, which has plenty to offer both average and business users.

At first glance, the brushed steel look of the keys and the thin 9.9mm-thick combined metal and hardened plastic case is very stylish. The E55 also weighs only 95g, making it one of the smallest Nokia handsets around.

Typing on the E55 is easy, with the letters on the QWERTY keypad spread out across 14 keys and placed in pairs. Characters and formatting functions are then laid out across the remaining six keypad buttons. The standard E series key cluster is found above the compact QWERTY keys, and includes the directional pad, select button, soft key buttons, call controls, backspace button and three shortcut keys for messaging, calendar and home.
