Optus TV Now is included in all Optus plans apart from the Prepaid Turbo Max plans. Mobile customers will automatically receive 45 minutes of storage space to record TV shows, but those who need more can purchase a package which provides more space to record. It is available to customers in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
The new Optus service will allow customers to schedule recordings of the TV shows they want to watch later either from their PC or mobile. The show will be stored in the cloud and not on the device itself, so you can access it either on your PC at home or on your mobile. Programs can be found by searching either by day, date or channel. Recording and watching TV will not count toward your monthly data limit.
Optus customers can access Optus TV now by logging in to Optus Zoo or via their iPhone bookmarks list.
