TPG is the first major Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) to have a nanoSIM ready to go for iPhone 5. Amaysim and iiNet have indicated an 8-10 week wait until they will have the cards available, with iiNet pushing hard to be the first to offer 4G as well.

The iPhone 5 has already sold out on many 24 month plan options from Optus, Telstra, Vodafone and Virgin, leaving many fans with only an outright purchase option to get their hands on a unit tomorrow. For people buying the phone outright, all major carriers will have pre-paid nanoSIMs available – but low cost SIM-only carriers are a better bet by almost any metric.
TPGs low cost Super Value plans consistently win Money Magazine awards and other accolades for their high value as compared to the rest of the market.
A quick chart:
All plans include 13/1300/1800 numbers in their cap value, but at higher rates ($1.02 + flagfall for 13 numbers, $1.24 + flagfall for 18 numbers). Still, with $1000 value for just $35, they’re far better value than comparable plans from the major carriers.
TPG uses the Optus 3G network. There’s no mention yet of when they will be taking advantage of the 4G network. Tethering (using your phone as a mobile modem for other devices) is allowed.
