Another member of the Motorola Razr family, the V3xx is a sleek, no nonsense flip phone that offers great connectivity and quality audio features.
The Motorola Razr V3xx is a solid handset, with metal and plastic casing that looks and feels good. The handset comes in a number of gorgeous colours, including a metallic blue, jet black and burnt orange. The flip mechanism is sturdy enough and the screen is a decent 2.2 inches. Good quality colour images are offered here and on the smaller 1 inch external display.
The keypad and controls will be familiar to Razr users: the keys are flat and backlit and there are a number of dedicated buttons including ones for music and video calling. These keys are surprisingly satisfying to use despite their flatness and are fine to call and text with. The user interface of the Motorola Razr V3xx is of excellent quality, and using this handset is no problem at all. Regardless of whether you are scrolling through menus or texting, lag is non existent.
A large selling point of the Motorola Razr V3xx is its improved connectivity compared with other Razr models. HSDPA is offered, providing fast web browsing and video streaming. The V3xx also has A2DP Bluetooth and PC synchronisation via a miniUSB port so you can easily update your emails and contacts from Microsoft Outlook.
Multimedia wise, the Razr V3xx is surprisingly powerful. While there are no stereo speakers, this Motorola is packing a new MP3 player that supports MP3, AAC and AAC+ files. The sound quality, much like the call quality is very good, both through the included headphones and the external speaker. The Razr V3xx also has a microSD card slot so you can pump up your storage, although there is no card included. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel camera and email support.
