Both Vodafone and 3 will exclusively launch the Android-based HTC Desire HD.  Vodafone-Hutchison Australia (VHA) will be announcing the plans for the handset closer to the launch date, which is set for some time later this year.

The phone features a large 4.3 inch screen, fast-loading maps with no data roaming fees and HTC Sense, which will allow owners to control some of the phone’s settings remotely in case it’s lost or stolen. The HTC Desire HD also features an impressible 8-megapixel camera with dual-flash, defeating the iPhone 4’s 5-megapixel camera.
