A phone that allows you to have two SIMs active at the same time, the DualSim Slider is a stylish sliding handset that will surely appeal to many.
Aesthetically, the DualSim Slider is very eye catching, with glossy black casing and a truly unique circular touch navigation pad. This pad has a metal edge and although it is not the easiest control, it does look great. You can access your music, messaging functions, address book and other features from this pad, and buttons either side allow you to select and call from either of your SIM cards.
That is really the selling point of the DualSim Slider: the dual SIMs! This is great for people with a personal number and a business number, and the DualSim Slider makes it really easy to make the most of this function. There are even two call buttons on the face of handset so you can choose which SIM to call from. When you do choose, the display will tell you which carrier you are using.
While this function is definitely the best part about the DualSim Slider, there are several other features that will impress. The 2 megapixel camera takes surprisingly good photos, and there is a microSD card slot hidden on the handset for improved storage. The DualSim has a decent multimedia player that includes an FM radio and sound recorder; although a 3.5mm headphone port is missing (there is a 2.5mm one instead). Another weird thing that is missing from the DualSim Slider is a predictive text feature.
