It is no secret that the LG KF750 is a stunning, masterfully crafted handset. What might not be known is that this stylish slider phone is packed with features and provides a great mobile phone experience.
When LG launched the Secret in Australia, they flew Sex and the City's Mr Big, Chris Noth over to promote it. What this tells you is that while you might not trust this handset with your heart, you can trust it to be suave and sophisticated. And it is. With a black and silver casing made of carbon fibre and tempered glass the Secret is a beautiful phone to behold, and to hold. It feels solid in your hands and slides open easily.
Using the LG KF750 Secret is done primarily by a slim lined selection key that is in the centre of a touch sensitive navigation keypad. These controls are small but very responsive, and LG have installed what are called haptics, which gives off a satisfying little buzz when you press them. The keypad underneath is flat but also great to use, even for the chubbiest of digits. For some functions of the Secret there are even touch screen controls, which is great but not very consistent.
Being the stylish handset that is it, the LG KF750 Secret has excellent multimedia functionality, headed by a 5 megapixel camera. This camera takes good pictures with the help of an LED flash, and there are a ream of extras to make your snaps worthy of a profile picture. Image editing is here, as well as a choice of ISO speeds and a macro option. The Secret can also take video which can be shot at several speeds and uploaded directly to YouTube using the Google menu.
Other features include a selection of fun games that make use of the LG Secret's motion sensor and a microSD card slot. The Secret is also well connected, boasting 3G, Bluetooth and HSDPA capabilities.
